BigPay Ghana is an international money transfer provider based in Ghana. Money sent from abroad is credited to the recipient's bank account or mobile wallet. The service also supports bill payments and API access.
Delivery options
- bank transfers to accounts in Ghana;
- mobile wallet top-ups.
In Ghana mobile wallets are an everyday way to hold money and pay, so wallet credit is often more convenient for recipients than a bank account.
In the pipeline
Cash pickup and card payments for e-commerce are marked as coming soon and are not live yet. Do not plan a launch around them.
Integration
Through the API, money transfer operators and fintech companies that need to deliver funds to recipients in Ghana can connect to the service.
Licence and legal entity
The operator is BigPay Ghana LTD. The company is listed in the Bank of Ghana register as a payment service provider with a PSP Enhanced licence, a category that permits an extended range of payment services.
