AmPay offers SPEI acceptance in Mexico, together with payments through OPM and regular bank transfers. The route was announced in September 2025.
Pricing - pay-in: from 2% down to 1%, plus 5 MXN per transaction; - payout: the same structure, 2–1% + 5 MXN; - settlement: 0%.
The fixed 5-peso add-on barely matters on large payments but noticeably raises the effective rate on small tickets.
Limits A single payment ranges from 20 to 20,000.
The methods SPEI is the Bank of Mexico's instant interbank transfer system, crediting funds in seconds to a CLABE number. OPM is a payment intermediary through which these transfers are received. SPEI is a familiar way to pay for Mexican customers, especially those without credit cards.
What to clarify The settlement cycle is not stated and must be agreed separately. Also ask whether a unique CLABE is issued per payment, which makes automatic reconciliation easier.
