A solo mobile developer is looking for subscriptions for solo developers: a provider that onboards individuals without a registered company. The setup must comply with App Store and Google Play rules.
Requirements - web subscriptions; - card checkout; - an API to verify subscription entitlements in the app; - a Merchant of Record model is being considered.
How it works The user subscribes on the website, and the app checks through an API whether they have active access. This lets a developer sell a digital subscription outside in-app purchases where a given store's rules allow it. Which route is allowed for this app still needs to be confirmed.
