A SaaS founder is looking for one partner to handle both incoming payments and payouts. He calls this a Merchant of Record, although the description is closer to a combined pay-in and pay-out setup. The request was published in July 2026.
What is needed - collecting payments from SaaS customers; - payouts to recipients; - one solution instead of several vendors.
What has been tried The author has looked at Flow and Kushki but has not reached a proof of concept with either. That means he is open to alternatives and ready to compare offers.
MoR or payment provider A true MoR becomes the seller of record for the buyer: it takes on taxes, refunds and legal liability for the sale. A regular PSP only moves the money. Explaining the difference and showing which model fits the product will help the author decide.
What is unknown The legal entity, company and product names, transaction volume and launch readiness are not confirmed. The author is linked to Chile, but that does not mean the service is only needed for the Chilean market; the geography needs clarifying.
