A merchant from Réunion, an overseas region of France, sells through Shopify and is looking for a PSP to accept bank cards. Earlier attempts ran into territorial restrictions, rejections at the KYC stage and minimum volume thresholds the store does not yet meet.
What is required - Visa, Mastercard and French CB card acceptance; - Apple Pay; - settlement in euros; - a Shopify-compatible mobile checkout.
The difficulty Many providers serve mainland France but leave overseas regions off their list of supported territories. A seller from the island should check upfront whether a PSP accepts merchants from there and what volume requirements apply at the start.
