The author plans to sell a virtual product on a $5 monthly subscription and is looking for a Merchant of Record. The key condition is privacy: the author's home address should not appear to buyers on receipts, the checkout page or public business details. Identity checks by the processor, the bank and government bodies are acceptable to the author.
What is needed - a Merchant of Record that faces the buyer on the author's behalf; - monthly subscriptions priced at about $5; - subscription event webhooks to grant access automatically; - the provider's details instead of a private person's address in customer-facing documents.
Important note This is not a request to skip KYC. The author is ready for full verification and only wants personal data kept away from customers. A provider should explain upfront which merchant details it is legally required to disclose to buyers.
