The founder is building a freelance marketplace and is looking for a reliable payment gateway to accept payments from clients worldwide. The platform has not launched yet, and payments are one of the last pieces before going live.
What is needed - an international gateway for a freelancing website; - payment acceptance from customers worldwide; - stable service without sudden account blocks.
Model and numbers A separate post by the same author mentions a 99 dollar subscription; that is a product price, not processing volume. Actual turnover is not disclosed because the marketplace is still being built.
What a provider should check The merchant entity and operating jurisdiction are not named. It is also unclear whether there is a real supply of clients and what safeguards are in place. A model where users pay in advance for access to opportunities calls for extra due diligence, so a provider should ask for a full business description before signing.
