Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE) 2027

MPE 2027, the 20th edition of the Merchant Payments Ecosystem conference, takes place in Berlin on 9–11 March 2027. Run by Empiria Group, it describes itself as Europe's number one merchant payments conference and is built around how merchants accept and optimise payments.

The programme covers acquiring, PSP selection, payment orchestration, account-to-account payments and cross-border commerce. Alongside the conference there is an innovation hub, a deal engine for pre-arranged meetings, an awards competition with a gala dinner, and a published list of attending companies. The organiser also runs MPE Merchant Circles, a smaller invitation-only format for merchants in London.

Who should attend

Heads of payments at e-commerce, travel, marketplace and subscription merchants, together with acquirers, PSPs, orchestration platforms and fraud vendors who sell to them. It is one of the European events where merchants make up a large part of the audience, which makes it efficient for business development.

Tickets and access

Admission is paid, with an early bird discount until 11 November; merchants can request a dedicated merchant pass, and VIP and gala dinner upgrades are available.
