परिचय
Panagiotis FinTech Newsletter is written by Panagiotis Kriaris, a payments executive who is Director and Head of Business and Corporate Development at Unzer. The English-language Substack gives hand-picked topics from fintech, payments and banking with behind-the-scenes analysis, free to subscribe.
Formats
Two regular formats appear: a second weekly issue with two or three chosen topics, and "The Week in Review – Behind Fintech", out on Saturdays, which explains what sits behind the week's headlines. Occasional specials go deeper, such as a stablecoin series that also ran in his column at The Paypers.
Recent issues
The Week in Review of 17 October 2026 covered Revolut versus incumbents, QR code payments, AI's effect on banking jobs, conversational banking and payment routing. An issue on 12 October combined Revolut versus incumbents with QR code payments. The 10 October review looked at the Nubank playbook, agentic commerce, Nubank versus Monzo, European payment schemes and the UniCredit and Commerzbank situation. Earlier pieces ranked Europe's top acquirers and discussed stablecoins at the point of sale.
