परिचय
Moody's Orbis & Grid is Moody's compliance data offering for deep AML and KYB screening. It combines the Orbis corporate database, which the company says covers more than 485 million companies, with the Grid risk database. The company dates back to 2000 and has offices in New York and London.
Components The product line includes Passfort Orchestration, the Grid Risk Database covering PEPs, sanctions and adverse media, and Orbis Corporate Ownership and UBO data. According to the company, it unites the Passfort, Kompany and Bureau van Dijk (Orbis) platforms that Moody's acquired.
Who it serves Stated target users are banks, acquirers, PSPs, corporate finance teams and insurers. A payment company would typically use it to trace ownership chains behind a merchant, identify ultimate beneficial owners and screen related parties during onboarding.
Coverage and terms Coverage is described as global. Access is sold under an enterprise contract, so pricing, data volumes and API options are agreed individually and are worth confirming with the vendor before integration into an onboarding flow.
