For a merchant, adding a wallet is a short path to cashless payments. There is no terminal to install and no wait for card acquiring: the buyer pays from their phone and the money lands in the seller's account. This suits small shops, cafés, delivery services and online projects serving Nepalese customers.

Several wallets operate in Nepal, and shoppers usually stick to one or two. That is why sellers often connect several at once so they do not lose the payment at the last step. NamastePay is one of the options in that mix.
