A UK company in education and e-commerce wants a provider to accept WeChat Pay, UnionPay from buyers in mainland China. Alipay would be a bonus but is not mandatory.
Settlement The author prefers licensed stablecoin settlement. If that route is not available, fiat settlement plus a separate licensed partner is acceptable. A stablecoin path cannot be assumed, so a provider should state upfront what it can legally offer.
What is ruled out Grey-market and P2P setups are rejected. The need is for official cross-border acquiring of Chinese methods for a UK entity.
About the merchant The business says it is operating, but its name and volume are not disclosed. It is worth asking which products are sold, how much volume comes from China and whether fiat-only settlement would be enough.
