CoinUnit.io

CoinUnit.io lets individuals in Hong Kong buy cryptocurrency for cash at its ATM network. The company is a crypto ATM operator, and the exchange direction is cash to crypto.

Assets and networks The ATMs support BTC, ETH, DOGE, LTC and TRX, delivered over the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin and TRON networks. The fiat currency is HKD and payment is in cash only. The machines accept HKD 500 and HKD 1,000 banknotes, and the minimum is HKD 500.

Fees and delivery The commission is variable and appears on the ATM screen before the customer confirms. Funds are sent to a wallet specified by the client. Delivery typically takes from 15 minutes to an hour and can stretch to 24 hours when the network is congested.

What to confirm The data does not state the legal entity, licensing, identity requirements or per-transaction maximums. Clients should check the quoted fee on the screen against other Hong Kong cash routes, and make sure the wallet address and network match before confirming, since blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
