VIALET

VIALET offers business accounts with dedicated IBANs, virtual corporate cards and high-volume SEPA and SWIFT settlements. The service is operated by UAB Vialet, an electronic money institution in Lithuania, and is also known as ViaPayments. Its virtual Visa and Mastercard cards have been available since 2017.

Licensing

UAB Vialet holds EMI licence number 16 from the Bank of Lithuania, which lists it in the official register. The company number is 304531663 and the SWIFT BIC is VIPULT22XXX. Client money is stated to be segregated in Tier-1 European banks, kept apart from operating capital and not lent out.

Services

The company offers mass and push-to-card payouts, payment collection, open banking and a B2B API for e-commerce and regulated industries. It supports SEPA, SEPA Instant and SWIFT, and offers a named dedicated Lithuanian IBAN. More than 40 currencies are supported, among them EUR, USD and GBP. The virtual cards support seven mostly European currencies, which avoids double conversion for regular payments in those currencies.

Verification and fees

Working with the cards requires KYC. Issuance, maintenance and top-up fees are given when a card is ordered, so they should be confirmed with the company.
