Januar is a Danish payment institution and MiCA CASP specialising in accounts for crypto companies. The legal entity is Januar ApS in Copenhagen, supervised by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet): payment institution FTID 21230, CASP FTID 10908, CVR 38891294. It is not a bank.
Services Januar provides operational and embedded IBAN accounts, integrated crypto trading and custody, fiat and crypto transfers and an API. Account types are fiat payment accounts, crypto accounts and embedded customer accounts. Currencies are EUR and USD, and the rails are SEPA and SEPA Instant. Crypto custody uses segregated Fireblocks wallet infrastructure, according to the terms.
Fees For the fiat account, the published fees include an onboarding fee of EUR 1,500 and a monthly fee of EUR 600.
Eligibility Clients are crypto companies, EEA businesses and platforms. The company officially serves only EEA clients, and legal entity and onboarding restrictions apply.
