Bank Rakyat Indonesia, or BRI, supplies merchants with EDC terminals that accept Visa, Mastercard, its own debit cards and BRIZZI. The bank also lists business bank accounts. It is based at Gedung BRI on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman in Jakarta.

Settlement

Payment arrives on the day after the merchant runs settlement on the terminal, including non-working days, according to the bank. This makes cash availability predictable for shops that close their terminal batch every evening.

Pricing

The merchant discount rate is agreed individually rather than published as a flat figure. A business should therefore expect a quotation based on its volume and card mix.
