Why it earns a place on a payments reading list
Stripe is the default gateway for a huge share of small online businesses, so its pain points are market-wide: reserves, risk reviews and terminations. A risk manager at a competing PSP can learn what merchants find unacceptable; a founder can see warnings before building a business on a single processor.
