Copenhagen Fintech

Copenhagen Fintech is the Nordic fintech innovation hub, set up ten years ago to speed up fintech in Denmark and the Nordics. It combines a physical lab in Copenhagen with a community of more than 100 members: start-ups, service providers and investors.

Who is involved More than 120 start-ups have worked from the lab. Scale-up partners include Lunar, Banking Circle, Firi and Chainalysis, and corporate partners include Danske Bank and Nordea Denmark. The Nordic Fintech Lab offers co-working space, mentoring and networking.

Programmes and recent news Tech for Fin, incubation, scale-up support, mentorship and international delegations make up the programme list, with a cohort page for digital assets. A press release in February 2026 introduced the Nordic Fintech Lab, the hub received a "10 Years of Excellence" recognition at Fintech Nordic 2026, and the Nordic Fintech Insights report for Q2 2026 was published. The 2026 general assembly reviewed the 2025 annual statement.

Why payments people look at it For a payments company entering the Nordics, the partner list shows banks and infrastructure providers such as Banking Circle that are already inside the community. The quarterly insights give a regional read of investment and start-up activity.
