Sobre el evento
The VII Meeting of Heads of Financial Market Infrastructures is part of the 2026 programme of CEMLA, the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies, which serves central banks in Latin America and the Caribbean. The face-to-face meeting in San José, Costa Rica, is co-sponsored by Banco de España and Banco Central de Costa Rica and brings together the people who run payment, clearing and settlement systems in the region. CEMLA's calendar places it within a wider schedule of courses, seminars and technical meetings aimed at sharing applied knowledge and good practice in central banking operations.
Who should attend
The meeting is aimed at heads of financial market infrastructures, mainly central bank payment and settlement system operators and their partners. For PSPs and fintechs it is mainly a signal of where real-time payment and settlement policy in Latin America is heading.
