Ask a Payment Pro: Sweepstakes & Gambling

Ask a Payment Pro is a casual live Q&A series from the Association of Payment Professionals (APP). Each session takes one narrow topic and puts it in front of a panel of practitioners from banks, vendors, ISOs and regulators. The December edition is devoted to sweepstakes and gambling merchants: how these categories are underwritten, which risk and compliance questions they raise, and what acquirers expect from them.

The confirmed expert is Andy Bayley, Director of Risk and Policy at LegitScript. The session runs for 30 minutes and starts at 9:00 am Pacific time on 2 December 2026. Questions can be asked live or submitted anonymously in advance.
