VisionLabs develops the LUNA computer-vision and biometrics platform used for remote identification (eKYC) and anti-spoofing. The company was founded in 2012 and lists the Netherlands, the UAE and Russia as its bases.

Technology The product list includes the LUNA PLATFORM itself, Single-frame Liveness, OCR document recognition, Deepfake Detection and On-Premise Deployment. Single-frame liveness means a spoofing check can work from one image rather than a video sequence, which shortens the user journey. VisionLabs states that it has repeatedly placed among the prize winners in NIST FRVT tests and iBeta certification.

Clients and regions Named verticals are banks, fintech, retail, payment systems and transport. The stated regions are the CIS, the Middle East, South-East Asia and Latin America.

Licensing The commercial model is an on-premise enterprise licence, which suits institutions that must keep biometric data inside their own infrastructure. Licence scope and pricing are not published, so they should be agreed with the vendor, together with any restrictions that apply in your jurisdiction.
