Resolve is a platform of protected B2B payments without non-payment or chargeback risk, spun out of Affirm. Founded in 2019, it is based in San Francisco.

How it works The product is non-recourse B2B payments: the company states 100% protection against non-payment and disputes. Other items are instant credit check of the corporate buyer and automated accounts receivable and disputes handling. A seller can offer net terms to business customers without carrying the risk that the buyer will not pay or will dispute the order, since Resolve takes on that risk.

Customers and markets Target verticals are B2B e-commerce, wholesale, marketplaces and manufacturers. Markets are the United States and Canada.

Fees A commission per transaction. Merchants should ask how credit limits for buyers are set, which buyers are declined, and how the commission compares with the cost of their current terms and disputes.
