Worldpay is open to many kinds of partners, from those who simply refer merchants to platforms ready to build payments into their product. The model is chosen to fit the partner's goals.
Who is invited - financial institutions; - independent sales organizations (ISOs); - resellers; - consultants; - platforms and software vendors.
Ways to work together - Merchant referrals: the partner brings businesses that need payment acceptance. - Integrations and joint products: building solutions in which Worldpay payments run inside the partner's product. - Embedded payments: a platform offers payment acceptance to its users as part of its service, up to a PayFac model where it onboards and manages sub-merchants itself.
Which model suits whom Consultants and resellers usually start with merchant referrals. Software platforms with many users gain more from embedded payments, because revenue grows with their users' volume. Financial institutions tend to look at joint products.
