Resumen
QPay Mongolia is a payment gateway and payment services provider operating in Mongolia. Merchants use it to accept payments by QR code and UnionPay cards.
Methods
- QR payments. The shopper scans a code at the till or on screen and confirms payment in their banking app. The seller needs no terminal, only a code to display.
- UnionPay. An international card scheme used, among others, by tourists and business visitors from China.
Cost
The merchant fee is 1% of receipts. This rate already includes the fees of other parties in the chain, so the seller can forecast costs more easily: no extra deductions beyond this percentage are stated. For low-margin businesses a single transparent rate is a clear reference when setting prices.
Who it suits
- shops, cafes and services in Mongolia that want to take payments without a terminal;
- outlets with foreign customers paying by UnionPay;
- online projects with a Mongolian audience.
