Pay N Seconds is a US payment gateway that combines acceptance, billing, recurring charges and merchant portals. A business gets one gateway for every channel where customers might pay.
Channels and methods
- credit and debit cards;
- eCheck and ACH, electronic debits from a bank account;
- online payments and pay-by-text links;
- POS for in-person payments;
- phone payments and IVR, an automated voice menu where customers enter their card details themselves.
Who pays the fee
The gateway supports a flexible model: the merchant can absorb the fee, pass it on to the customer, or split it between both. The rate itself is calculated individually.
Merchant requirements
To onboard, the company asks for three years of financial statements and at least 100 transactions per month. It is built for established businesses with a track record rather than brand-new ventures.
Who it suits
The mix of IVR, phone payments and recurring billing is especially useful for utilities, insurance agencies, clinics and other organisations that bill repeat customers.
