Inovio is a payment gateway and provider of online merchant accounts for high-risk businesses. The company opens accounts for accepting payments and processes transactions for merchants that ordinary banks and mainstream PSPs often decline.
What the service includes
- Opening an online merchant account — the account where revenue from card payments arrives.
- Payment processing through its own gateway: authorising transactions and passing them to the acquiring bank.
Why this matters for high-risk
High risk does not necessarily mean anything dubious. Banks use the label for projects with high chargeback ratios, subscription billing, large tickets or tightly regulated industries. Such merchants need a partner willing to review their application and able to match them with a suitable bank.
Onboarding
The company assesses each project separately, so approval is not guaranteed in advance. Industries, countries, fees and document requirements are not detailed on the card — discuss them in your first request, attaching a description of the business and current processing figures.
