The Global Payments partner program offers three ways to work together: referral business, integrated payments and payment facilitation. The company is looking for partners among ISVs, ISOs, platforms, marketplaces and professional services firms.
Three models - Referral: the partner recommends Global Payments to clients, and the company handles onboarding and service. - Integrated payments: payment acceptance is built into the partner's software, so users pay inside its product. - Payment facilitation: the partner onboards sub-merchants under its own account and manages their payments. This is the deepest model and suits marketplaces and large platforms.
Who can join - ISVs, independent software vendors; - ISOs, sellers of merchant acquiring; - platforms and marketplaces; - professional services firms such as consultancies and accountants.
Getting started The model is chosen through discussion: Global Payments has to approve the setup that fits the partner. Commercial terms are not published and no countries are named, so everything from revenue share to volume requirements is settled at this stage.
