Freemarket runs a standing bank partnership program: banks, licensed financial institutions and fintech companies are invited to join and help expand the corridors of its network. The network is global, with no specific countries named.
What partners bring - access to local clearing; - banking infrastructure and accounts; - FX liquidity; - regional collection and settlement capabilities.
Format This is an open invitation rather than an urgent order for a particular corridor, with no set volume or deadline. A partner can offer whatever part of the infrastructure it has, such as clearing in one country or liquidity in a given currency pair. Freemarket does not say which corridors matter most, so that is worth asking in the first conversation.
Who it suits Banks and licensed institutions with their own access to local payment systems and currency liquidity. Partners go through KYB and licence checks before onboarding, so it helps to prepare an overview of your jurisdictions, currencies and client types in advance.
