The FlatRate ISO agent program (Flat Rate Processing) accepts applications from people who want to sell card acquiring to US merchants. Both newcomers and experienced agents or ISOs are welcome: the company provides training, certification and an agent toolkit.
Joining terms - no application fee; - training lasts 3–5 days; - agents are certified after training.
Stated income terms - Lifetime residuals: recurring payouts on the volume of signed merchants for as long as they trade; - no clawback: commissions already paid are not taken back if a client leaves; - no non-compete: agents are free to work with other providers.
These points are stated publicly, but check them against the agent agreement before signing: the contract defines how residuals are calculated and when they continue.
What you sell The core product is card acceptance. For an agent without their own infrastructure it is a clear way into the industry: the ISO supplies training and tools, and the agent focuses on finding merchants. The residual rate itself is not stated.
