Resumen
Eupago is a payment service provider (PSP) whose main advertised tool is payment links. The merchant creates a link for a given amount and sends it to the customer, who then pays on the provider's hosted page.
How payment links work
A payment link is the address of a checkout page tied to a specific order or amount. It can be sent:
- via messenger or SMS;
- by email or attached to an invoice;
- in direct messages on social media.
The customer opens the link, picks a payment method and pays, while the merchant tracks the payment status in their dashboard.
Who it suits
This format works for businesses without a web shop: freelancers and consultants, social media sellers, services that take prepayment and companies that invoice over the phone. There is no need to build a website or a cart; generating a link is enough. Links are also useful for web shops handling orders placed manually through support.
