Resumen
Banctek is a company that offers merchants payment processing and a payment gateway. It covers two areas: card-present payments and services for high-risk merchants.
Card-present
These are transactions where the shopper pays in person with a card at a till or terminal. They are considered lower risk than online payments, so they suit shops, restaurants and service businesses with physical locations.
High-risk
The second area is merchants in elevated-risk industries. These are businesses that mainstream banks often decline because of chargebacks, regulatory limits or reputational concerns. Banctek routes such payments through a network of partner banks, matching the bank to the client's profile.
Approval for a specific business is not guaranteed: each project is assessed separately.
How it works
The company does not act as the acquiring bank itself; it connects merchants with partner banks. For the client this means terms depend on which bank takes the account.
Terms
Countries served, pricing and payout timing are not published on the card. They are shared after a questionnaire where the merchant describes its business and volumes.
