Indian company SSDPayements is looking for a partner that can provide bank APIs for UPI in both directions. It needs collections through the UPI Intent flow and payouts, all processed in real time.
What UPI Intent is UPI is India's instant payment system. In the Intent flow the buyer taps a pay button and their UPI app opens straight away with the amount filled in, with no manual entry of details and no QR code. For merchants it is one of the highest-converting payment methods in India.
Who can respond - banks with their own UPI APIs; - NBFCs, non-bank financial companies that run payment products; - TSPs, technical service providers that connect businesses to bank UPI infrastructure.
What is needed - an API for pay-in via UPI Intent; - an API for payouts to recipients' accounts; - real-time processing.
What to clarify No volume is disclosed. Before sending a proposal, check whether the request is still active, which legal entity the company uses, which verticals and methods it is permitted to run, the target regions, expected turnover, the settlement setup and who has authority to sign the contract.
