A merchant in Paraguay is looking for an international payment gateway or a Merchant of Record service to sell to buyers abroad. Prices at checkout should be shown in US dollars, and revenue should be paid out to a Paraguayan bank account. The request was published in July 2026.
Requirements - an international checkout that presents amounts in USD; - collection from buyers in different countries; - settlement to a bank account in Paraguay.
Gateway or MoR The author is open to both. A plain gateway leaves taxes and refunds with the seller, while an MoR sells on its own behalf and takes those on. A provider should state clearly which model it offers and whether it onboards sellers based in Paraguay.
Still unknown The product, legal entity and volume are not disclosed, and they will drive both the model choice and pricing. One commenter suggested ways to avoid taxes, but that came from an unrelated participant: only lawful setups with honest merchant onboarding are of interest.
